SOUS LES ÉCRANS LA DÈCHE, THE FILM FESTIVAL WORKERS’ COLLECTIVE

Mon 25
March

Precariousness at festivals :
A state of emergency.
What is the best way out?

The collectif des précaires des festivals de cinéma was formed in March 2020 following the announcement of reforms to unemployment insurance in France.
It brings together workers at film festivals (projectionists, programmers, stage managers, subtitlers, those in charge of volunteers, coordination, ticketing, welcoming guests or communications, etc.).

Nearly 5,000 of us alternate periods of intense work and unemployment. 3 years after the implementation of these reforms in the field, where do we stand? What are our findings, our fears and our hopes for the future?

Moderated by:
Caroline Châtelet
— Journalist, critic, programmer (Tënk)
Chloé Folens

With :
Marie-France Aubert et Emilie Vincre

Other speakers are still likely to join the round table.
