Biarritz Latin America Festival 2023

The Festival Biarritz Amérique Latine, France, September 23 – 29 2023, has awarded two films presented in competition during Cinéma du réel 2023:

• El Juicio, Ulises de la Orden (Clarens Award for Humanist Documentary Filmmaking Cinéma du réel 2023), received the IHEAL Students Jury Award,
• Adieu sauvage, Sergio Guataquira Sarmiento (Library Award Cinéma du réel 2023), received the Abrazo for best documentary.

The festival had also programmed Jean-Charles Hue’s film “The soiled doves of Tijuana”, presented as a special screening of the 45th edition of Cinéma du réel.
