Akram Abdellah Chikhi
Akram Abdellah Chikhi was born in Algiers in 2003. After studying Visual Arts at the Beaux-Arts in Algiers, he continued his research in photography and video at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (EnsAD) in Paris. His work explores perspectivism and the coexistence of multiple individualities, questioning how fragmented perceptions shape the social body. At the intersection of the intimate and the political, he focuses on the “sacralization” of life paths in the face of historical upheavals. Rejecting fixed labels, he uses cinema as a metaphysical tool to probe an essentially unattainable truth, where each shot becomes a perspective ready to be generalized.
