Aaron Brookner (1981, USA) is a director, producer, screenwriter and visual artist. Born in New York City, he graduated from Vassar College and has been based in London since 2009. He trained as a writer with Budd Schulberg (On the Waterfront) and started his career assisting in the productions of Jim Jarmusch and Rebecca Miller. Aaron works across narrative and documentary features, series, and visual arts. His films have premiered at leading festivals including Sundance, Berlinale, Venice, Locarno, San Sebastian, Viennale and New York Film Festival.

Rodrigo Areias (1978, Portugal) is a director, producer and screenwriter with a degree in Sound and Image from the School of Arts of the Portuguese Catholic University. Throughout his career he has made music videos and fiction and documentary works. His directorial debut Tebas (2007) and short Corrente (2008) were presented at international film festivals, winning several awards. In 2012, he was in charge of curating the provision of films for Gumarães 2012 European Capital of Culture among which were works by Jean-Luc Godard, Aki Kaurismaki and Peter Greenaway.
