Classic Documentary Film Rendez-Vous

With the Classic Documentary Film Rendez-vous, Cinéma du réel organises a special day focused on the vitality and diversity of French and international documentary heritage for broadcasting professionals. Designed as a space for reflection and film circulation, this event offers a morning debate, exclusive presentations of restoration projects carried out by renowned institutions, and the screening of a restored film.

 

Acces upon inscription

  • discussion with professionals working for classical documentary films, hosted by Antoine Guillot, journalist and producer of Plan large (France Culture), with Brice Amouroux (INA) and Laurence Braunberger (Les Films du Jeudi),
  • presentation of five French and International restoration projects by Gérald Duchaussoy, co-manager of Cannes Classics and MIFC at Festival Lumière,
  • projection of the restored version of TALL EL ZAATAR by Mustafa Abu Ali, Pino Adriano, Jean Chamoun. Restored by AAMOD, in presence of Monica Maurer, filmmaker
