It’s close to midnight. Not far from the Porte de Vanves in Paris, Moussa and Alassane aren walking their dog. It’s the 14th of July.

Hugo Franconeri

Born in Nice in 1995, Hugo Franconeri lives and works between Paris, Brussels and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. A musician by training, Hugo Franconeri holds a scientific baccalaureate and a degree in audiovisual arts with a specialisation in image at the Institut des Arts de Diffusion (Belgium). He was coached by Benoit Dervaux, cinematographer for the Dardennes brothers, and went on to study at the Beaux-Arts de Paris in the studios of Clément Cogitore and Angelica Mesiti. He devotes himself to creating films at the same time as his career as an image technician. He graduated with honours in September 2024. His video work has been shown in various contemporary art institutions.
