Cinéma du réel at the French Institute in Beijing

The French Institute in Beijing, China, is opening its Documentary Film Month programme with an evening dedicated to Cinéma du réel on Sunday 1 November 2026.

Programme:

  • Dao, Alain Gomis, special screening Cinéma du réel 2026,
  • The Rib of the Greater Bay Area, Zhou Tao, film in competition and special mention of the Feature film jury Cinéma du réel 2026, This screening will be followed by a video conference between Zhou Tao and Antoine Thirion, member of Cinéma du réel selection committee,
  • Makongo, Elvis Sabin Ngaïbino, film in competition, Scam International Award and Libraries Award ex aequo, Cinéma du réel 2020.
