Shadow Boxing

In the era of contemporary societies and scrolling, Shadow Boxing tracks the daily life of a solitary protagonist whose ambition is to display his virility. Fuelled by his ego and an ordinary pace of life, he sets out on a quest, scrolling through self-motivational content on the internet.

Luna Fernandez was born in Paris and grew up between Spain and south-eastern France. After graduating from the Bordeaux School of Fine Arts in 2025, she returned to Marseille to begin a master’s degree at the National School of Fine Arts. A multidisciplinary artist, her practice lies between the digital and the sculptural. She discovered machinima during her bachelor’s degree, which led her to work in a field at the crossroads of video games and editing. Her subjects revolve around identities, hegemonic masculinities and contemporary speculations.
