Armel Hostiou

Armel Hostiou studied cinema at the Fémis where his graduation film, SoloS, won awards in various festivals. He then started directing and shot several short films but also video installations and numerous music videos. In 2008 he co-founded the production company Bocalupo Films with which he directed his first feature film, Rives (Cannes 2011). In 2015 he released a second feature film, Une Histoire Américaine (Viennale 2015) and in 2019 La Pyramide Invisible, his first documentary film (Cinéma du Réel 2019).
