Focus on participatory practices in cinema.

• A screening will be devoted to several films made with prisonners
• A special screening in collaboration with the Cinémathèque idéale des banlieues du monde (Ideal Film Library of the World’s Suburbs) focusing on the restoration of the film Le Garage directed by the Groupe Mohamed.
• Discussion: What does amateur filmmaking do to those who practice it?
• This year, Cinéma du réel is partnering with GRUC (the university research group on cinematic utopias), composed of filmmakers and researchers Clément Schneider, David Faroult, Corinne Maury, Sébastien Layerle, and Sylvain Dreyer, to offer a day of discussion on the utopias of broadcasting.
