"Arcana" - International Festivals

Cristóbal Vicente's film "Arcana", international competition Cinéma du Réel 2006, was programmed to Planete Doc Review Film Festival, Poland, May 11th - 20th 2007 and to Festival Punto de Vista, Pamplona, Spain, February 23rd - March 3rd 2007.
It was selected to the Rencontres Internationales du Documentaire de Montréal, Québec, Canada, November 9th to 19th 2006 and to Filmer à tout prix Film Festival, Brussels, Belgium, November 13th to 25th 2006.
It was awarded a mention by the "Horizons" Jury at Dokfest Münich 2006, after having also participated to the competitions of Alba's Infinity Film Festival, Italy, march 31st-april 8th 2006, and to Nyon's Visions du Réel Film Festival, Switzerland, april 24th to 30th 2006.

"Babooska" - International Festivals

Tizza Covi and Rainer Frimmel's film "Babooska" International competition and international Scam International Award Cinéma du Réel 2006 was programmed at BAFICI Buenos Aires Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente, Argentina, April 2010.
It was awarded ex-aequo Best Austrian Documentary 2006 together with Arash's "Exile Home Movie". It received a special mention from the "Uno sguardo nuovo" Jury at Alba's Infinity Film Festival, Italy, march april 2006, the Berlinale Wolfgang Staudte Award and Bolzano Festival's Public Award.
It has been selected to numerouse festivals: Rennaissance Festival Minneapolis St Paul (United States), Los Angeles Film Festival (United States), Haifa International Film Festival (Israel), The Times BFI London Film Festival (Great Britain), Doclisboa (Portugal), Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival (Czech Republic), Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (Mexico), Duisburger Filmwoche (Germany).
It will be theatricaly released in Austria on November 17th 2006 and has been bought by RAI Sender Bozen.

It was also selected to Alba's Infinity Film Festival, Italy, march 31st-april 8th 2006, to Kortfilm Festivalen, Grimstad, Norway, june 2006 and to the Rencontres Paris-Cinéma.
It has been purchased by ARTE after its screening at Cinéma du Réel.

It was awarded the Public Prize at Alba's Infinity Film Festival, Italy, march 31st-april 8th 2006, before its selection in the "Regards neufs" section of Nyon's Visions du Réel Film Festival, Switzerland, april 24th to 30th 2006 and Documenta Madrid Film Festival, Spain, may 5th to 14th 2006.

Kiyé Simon Luang's film "The Fleeting Island" (L'Ile éphémère), Détour Programme Cinéma du réel 2005, was screened at Pantin Côté Court Film Festival, in France in april 2005, where it received the Sound and Music Creation Prize. It is also programmed this fall as part of Instants Vidéo Nomades and as part of the Documentary Film Month. It will be screened at the Cinémathèque française on October 23rd 2005.
Kiyé Simon Luang is also the project coordinator of Film Flamme Association and is a member of SACRE - Studio Autonome du Cinéma de RecherchE.

Tamara Trampe and Johannes Feindt's film "White Ravens - Nightmare in Chechnya" "Weisse Raben - Alptraum Tschetschenien), International Competition and Library Award Cinema du Reel 2005, received the 2007 German Grimme-Preis.
It was selected as part of the competition to Florence Festival Dei Popoli December 2nd to 8th 2005. It was also screened at Vancouver International Film Festival in Canada, from September 29th to October 14th 2005, and at Bergen International Film Festival, in Norway, from October 20th to 26th 2005.
