Mati Diop's film Atlantiques (Special Mention Prix Marcorelles, First Films Competition Cinéma du réel 2010) is part of the film programme of Migrant'scène, the festival organized by the Cimade (France, November 15 - December 2, 2012).
It screened at the Viennale (Vienna, Austria, October 25 - November 7, 2012) as part of a special screening dedicated to the director in her presence.
Atlantiques won the Tiger Award for Short Film 2010 at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (the Netherlands, January 2010).
This film was presented at the Onion City Experimental Film Festival (Chicago, United States, June 2011) and as part of the 2010 Spring Collection of Documentaire sur grand écran at the Forum des images (Paris, France, June 2010).
